Hearth & Hollow makes slow things in a fast world. We gave the studio a calendar that follows the seasons outside the window, and turned the potter's wheel into the most watched spot in the building.

[01]

The low pressure

Every product photo looked lovely and identical. The brand had no face, no voice and no reason for anyone to come back after they bought a mug.

[02]

The hunch we backed

We filmed the studio like a weather report, with a short seasonal broadcast every Sunday. Each launch got a countdown built from glaze tests, and buyers were invited to send photos of their mugs in use, which became the most saved posts on the account.

“We stopped trying to look like a big brand. Turns out people wanted the little one with clay under its nails.”
